I had a massage with Joy and it was such a great experience! You can immediately feel how professional and skilled she is by the way she works on your muscles and really gets into the tension. Joy herself is also incredibly kind, polite, and pleasant. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire session. I have always gotten my massage done by Joy she is such a talented & compassionate professional lady at what she does, I get her massages once a month due to me constantly lifting weight and the nature of my work and she really makes sure to focus mainly on where my troubled areas are of tension in my muscles and massages it really well. I have never had such an amazing massage before! She truly is wonderful and she always recommendeds what service is the best for you and will help the most. Her space is very clean & peaceful. I met Joy at her door and was greeted kindly and warmly. She led me to her studio where everything was ready and prepared. I had booked a 2hr combo package of Thai, Swedish and Hotstone Massage.  She also offers and did, cupping on my most painful areas. I’ve experienced all of these services before, so I had a good idea of what to expect. That being said, I’m astutely aware of an environment and the practitioners’ influence on an experience. This was excellence, she brought experience, knowledge and genuine compassion with the authentic desire to help me heal. Through the entire experience, Joy was attentive, considerate and constantly checking-in about how this/that felt.  Things like, Do you want more or less pressure, are the stones to hot, where is the pain and so on…the dialog was not overly invasive so I couldn’t relax, but just enough that she could personally cater to my needs. For those of you that don’t know, Thai massage, can be a bit aggressive, but so beneficial if you can handle a bit of “good” pain.  Your body is manipulated and stretched in a variety of ways.  The practitioner (Joy) techniques that uses their own body to pull, twist and stretch your body in controlled ways to reach all the hidden and stuck energies inside your joints.  The overlay of soft tissue (Swedish) massage, coupled with the Hotstone made the whole experience remarkable and I can’t recommend her enough! After discovering Thai massage through watching various travel blogs, I assumed that I would have to get on an airplane and head to Thailand to experience an authentic Thai massage. Finding Joy at Warin proved me wrong. Joy is kind and welcoming and will make you feel at ease through your entire appointment. Her massage studio, in a room in a home is clean and welcoming. I arrived feeling tense and left feeling relaxed. Thai massage includes deep pressure and stretching. Throughout your appointment Joy always makes sure to communicate well and make sure the pressure is as intense as you like tayloring her style to suit you. Joy will take you apart on her table, turn you into a pretzel by stretching, massaging and bending you in ways you didnt know you could bend, and then put you back together feeling like a new person.
